  • World’s Thinnest Laptop revealed at 10:08 A.M. (PST)
  • MacBook Air, Apple’s newest portable computer is 0.16” to 0.76” standard with 2GB of RAM. There is a 1.8” hard drive boasting 80GB of storage, or you can have a 64GB SSD as an option. It has a 5 hour battery life, a 45W MagSafe power adapter, a Micro-DVI and Audio Out. The Air also comes with a 802.11n wirless capabilities as well as Bluetooth 2.1/EDR. The Intel Core Duo processor, at 1.6GHz or 1.8GHz, is rumored to be as wide as a nickel and as thin as a dime. Apple paired with Intel for this tiny processor. The 13” display screen is LED backlit and the new machine features a mutli-touch/ gesture trackpad. The MacBook Air will retail at $1,799.00. Amazing.
  • Today is the 200th day since the iPhone has been on sale and over 4 million have been sold. That averages 20,000 per day.
  • New iPhone features include lyrics in iTunes, new Maps feature, SMS texting to multiple people.
  • Rent movies from iTunes.
  • Apple is now offering 1,000 movies to rent from $2.99 to $3.99. The movie lasts for 24 hours from the first time you watch it in a 30-day buying period.
