Now that I've filled you in on Yamaha's claims about the RH10MS headphones, let's talk about how they sound. First off, they certainly crank! When plugged into my computer and listening to iTunes, I can set the volume to 100% and there is literally no distortion. The sound was clean and crisp. Yamaha's claim of 3D natural surround sound is definitely present. It really does sound like you are in a room full of music and not wearing headphones. My only complaint would be that bass frequencies seemed lacking, especially lower bass. Aside from that, these headphones really rock!
