Coursework focuses on space planning, traffic patterns, and the colors, surfaces, and furnishings that make surroundings comfortable and livable. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level employment such as draftsperson, facilities planner, interior designer/decorator, or space planner.

The Interior Planning with AutoCAD program begins with coursework in interior planning and construction, and moves on to lettering, line work, drafting principles, codes specification, and reference materials. Courses are also devoted to Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) which uses the power of the computer and advanced software to expand productivity. Graduates are prepared to seek entry-level positions such as draftsperson, plans checker, planner, detailer, or designer.
