The Intensive course of 4 hours daily is available at all don Quijote schools in Spain and Peru, whereas the Superintensive course of 6 hours is only available in Spain. Both courses are offered at all levels from total beginner to advanced. Through various activities, practices and exercises, designed for each level, you will gradually acquire and develop the necessary strategies to understand and communicate messages in Spanish, oral as well as written.

 

Examples of the subjects covered in the lessons are:
+ Everyday situations which you will encounter during your stay in Spain such as meeting people, telephone conversations, etc.
+ Vocabulary and idiomatic expressions.
+ Styles of language use; when a particular use of language is acceptable.
+ Grammar (forming words, sentence structure, spelling and word sounds). Not in the form of dry rules but through communication and practice.
+ Cultural factors suchs as:
  - The meaning of words in different contexts. If you do not watch out you can get into some funny situations or even embarrass someone.
  - The gestures and body language which accompany and influence communication.
  - Language use.
  - Intonation.

1 extra daily class: formula 4 + 1 / 6 + 1:
In addition to the daily classes of Spanish, you can opt daily for free classes on various topics of cultural interest. Attending to these classes you get a better knowledge of Spain and Peru, way of life and nature of the locals, their customs and traditions etc..,acquaintances that leads you to a better understanding of the Spanish language.

Classes start on Monday and are from Monday-Friday. (You will have either morning classes 9:00-13:00 and/or in the afternoon 15:00-19:00. This will be decided on your first course day.)

Spanish + Excursions in Peru

In Peru excursions are organized in combination with Spanish classes. One week in Manu (classes in the rainforest: a protected area in the Peruvian Amazaon) or two weeks in Urubamba (a small, quiet town in the Sacred Valley of the Incas). A unique opportunity: the teachers will be accompanying you throughout the trip and therefore it is guaranteed that you will be practicing the Spanish language continuosly while participating in an attractive, dynamic, interesting and entertaining leisure program in an unspoiled natural environment.
