Málaga is a city that sparkles because of its temperament. This shows above all in the best known folklore of Málaga: the song and dance of the Flamenco. Before and during Easter there are numerous processions.
That's when Málaga shows itself in all its pomp and circumstance, a joy to behold. The city has many historic attractions. Not just the old centre of Málaga with its countless Moorish remains but also the Alcazaba, a Muslim Fort, and the castle on Mount Gibralfaro are well worth a visit.

The School |

|
|
Location
Málaga Plus is only 300 meters from the beach. The school is situated in the centre of the 'Pedralejo' district, 20 minutes by bus from the tourist centre. In the business district, you will meet many Spanish tourists who are on holiday in their own country.
They avoid the centre because of the invasion of foreign tourists.
The school building has six classrooms, a courtyard, a covered terrace with bar and facilities such as video and TV. the school is open all year, except for the last two weeks of December.
The minimum age is 18 years and you have, just as with don Quijote, a maximum of 7 other students in a group.

Courses
The supply of courses at Málaga Plus is restricted to Intensive (four hours per day) and Super-Intensive (six hours per day) courses of two to eight weeks. It is always possible to extend your course. There are no specialized or long-term courses offered. You have to go to don Quijote schools for that.
You can start a course on the official start dates. The study books are included in the price.
Timetable
09:30 - 13:30 Intensive
08:30 - 14:30 Super-intensive
17:00 - 21:00 Afternoon timetable, only in the summer

Teachers and teaching method
The selection of the teachers and the teaching method are almost the same as that of don Quijote.
This is one of the most important conditions that we attach to our partnership.
Accommodation
You have a choice of a single or a double room in a student flat or with host family (on half board basis).
In a student flat you share the accommodation with other students from the school. During specific months you pay a (small) surcharge for your lodging.
Activities and excursions
The school organizes lots of weekday activities such as dancing lessons, a tapas tour, beach volleyball and guided tours of the centre of the city.
There is no welcome dinner on the first Monday but there is a welcoming party on Tuesday. Excursions are organized at the weekends to cities, villages and the countryside.

Our opinion of Málaga Plus
If you want to combine sun, sea, temperament and folklore with studying Spanish, then Málaga is the ideal choice.
You are located in a residential area so there is plenty of opportunity to meet the locals and Spanish tourists. Studying in Málaga is more than just a beach holiday. It is an experience you will treasure for a long time.
