Intermediate producing techniques, covering development, rights acquisition, project pitching, assembling the talent/crew packages and how to get the project "green lit".

Intermediate production design covering concept development, project breakdown, research and implementation of the project's concept.

Pro Tools 1
Introduction to Pro Tools and the use of its tool sets for sound editing, mixing, dialogue editing, balance, sound effects editing, and foley creation. Must be taken in conjunction with Sound Design 2.

Sound Design 2
Intermediate sound design mechanics including the operation of Fostex PD-4, Mackie 1202-VLZ, DSR-80 and AVID Media Composer interfaces. Sound Design 1 is a pre-requisite. Must be taken in conjunction with Pro Tools 1.

Screenwriting 2
Introduction to the screenplay and the writer's thought process, including the basic nuts and bolts of screenplay construction and structure as it relates to the story and plot development.

Screenwriting Lab 1
Focused writing, supervised by writing instructors. Students write, evaluate, re-write and polish short and or feature length screenplays.

Story 2
Advanced story structure, focusing plot development for the feature length script.
(eight 2.5 hour classes)
Working With Actors 1
The director works with actors, learning to understand and utilize acting and its tools to achieve the director's desired performance.

AVID 3
Advanced mechanical editing skills working with 24fps projects on the AVID Media Composer. AVID 1 and 2 and Editing 1 and 2 are pre-requisites. Must be taken in conjunction with Editing 3.
