Kansas City is a metropolitan area about 45 minutes from The College in Ottawa, Kansas. Ottawa University opened its Kansas City campus in 1974 to meet the educational needs of adults. The campus is conveniently located at 4370 West 109th Street in Overland Park, just off I-435 and Roe.
The Kansas City campus offers eight undergraduate majors, a Master of Human Resources, a Master of Business Administration, a Graduate Human Resources Certificate Program, a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure Program, a Professional Education Program for teachers, and three online programs. You learn to plan, budget and coordinate business practices to accomplish organizational goals. Analysis of systems and data to establish priorities and utilize human resource to provide exceptional products and services is stressed.
At Ottawa University students can build upon prior college coursework, certifications, and life learning and complete a major in Management. The Management degree is offered both ONLINE and in the classroom. Ottawa's Bachelor of Arts in Management provides the student with an opportunity to build upon professional/technical study completed at a community or technical college, as well as selected national or state certifications.
