From the masterminds at Dynomighty Design who brought you the Mighty Wallet come Desk DOTS! These surprisingly strong ceramic magnets make for delightful multipurpose desk accessories. You can use them to hold paper clips, collect stray staples, arrange papers (or even notepads – they can support up to half an inch of paper), as “pushpins” on magnetic surfaces, etc. Fiddling and building with them provides great stress relief as well. Check out this brief, amusing video demonstrating some of the many uses for Desk DOTS:

Six magnets come in each package. While I enjoy my half dozen magnets thoroughly, I suspect 2-3 packages would be optimal for both play and organization. At $15 a pop, though, that could get a little pricey, depending on your budget. (It could be worse, however – the price has been reduced from $20. Nice!)
